The first catechists in any child's life are the family members with whom he or she lives. What happens at home - both positive and negative - provides lessons for life. Family faith should be shared as part of the unfolding of daily life. Our homes provide the foundation in which our children learn to live his or her faith. Our goal is to enrich and form lifelong faith formation centered around the life of the church.

Our Family Formation (1^st – 6^th Grade with Parents) and our Faith Formation (7^th – 10^th Grade) programs are here to assist all parents in their role as primary educators of children and youth in the faith while working on the goal of having a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ within the Sacramental life of the Catholic Church.

The goals of the Family Formation and Faith Formation Program are as follows:

• To build upon the faith nurtured by families and celebrated in baptism.
• To provide religious formation consistent with the basic traditions and teaching of the Catholic Church.
• To create opportunities to experience the rich sacramental life of the Church.
• To develop a sense of belonging to a parish, local and world community.
• To empower adults in their roles as “religious educators”.
